Indian Railways Enhances Services and Crowd Management for Holi Festival Travel

Indian Railways has implemented extensive measures to manage the increased passenger flow during the Holi festival across various regions. These include operating hundreds of special trains, setting up holding areas and help desks at busy stations like Ludhiana and Delhi, and deploying civil defence volunteers for crowd control. Additional coaches were added to regular trains, and facilities such as food vans and fans were provided to enhance passenger comfort and ensure orderly boarding amid the festive rush.
