Southern Railways Implements Additional Measures for Attukal Pongala Festival

Southern Railways has implemented additional arrangements for the Attukal Pongala festival on March 3 in Thiruvananthapuram, including special trains, additional stoppages, and train rescheduling. Measures to ensure passenger convenience include regulated parking from March 1 to 3, designated platforms for trains towards Kollam and Nagercoil, and controlled platform entry via temporary holding areas with extra ticket counters. About 12 trains will have brief stops at Thiruvananthapuram Pettah station for reserved passengers.
