Fresh Snowfall Near Atal Tunnel and Light Showers in Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh experienced fresh snowfall near the Atal Tunnel and light rain showers in Jot and Dharamshala, with 2.2 mm and 1.2 mm of rainfall respectively. Despite this, temperatures remained steady, with Kukumseri in Lahaul and Spiti recording a low of -2.6°C and Una reaching 30°C. From February 1 to 26, the region received 14.7 mm of rain, significantly below the seasonal average of 91.9 mm. A new Western disturbance is expected from March 2.
