A statutory inquiry has been ordered by the Commissioner of Railway Safety into a fire incident involving the Tatanagar-Ernakulam Express. The fire occurred early on December 29 near Yelamanchili Railway Station. The inquiry, to be conducted by Commissioner Madhavi, will take place on December 31 and January 1 in Vijayawada. The public is invited to provide information or written representations to the inquiry.
