Four Killed, Three Injured in Itanagar Landslide Causing Wall Collapse

A landslide triggered by continuous heavy rainfall caused the collapse of a retaining wall at a construction site in Niti Vihar, Itanagar, on Monday around 4 pm. Seven workers were trapped under mud and debris; four—Choki Tasar, Godak Raja, Godak Tabin, and Ratan Barman—were killed, while three others were injured and hospitalized. Rescue operations were conducted by the State Disaster Response Force, police, and district officials amid challenging conditions due to unstable mud.
