Long queues of vehicles caused hours-long delays along the Manali-Solang Nala-Atal Tunnel route, impacting both visitors and residents. Road damage from the monsoon has exacerbated the issue. Rohtang Pass was closed for tourists as a safety measure due to heavy snow, with restrictions also affecting access to the Atal Tunnel earlier in the day. Despite these challenges, tourist movement was later permitted towards the Atal Tunnel and Sissu.
