At least 14 people, including six children and five women, died when a truck carrying 23 passengers fell from a bridge in Kot Momin, Punjab, Pakistan, due to dense fog and poor visibility. The vehicle, mostly carrying an extended family traveling to a funeral in Faisalabad, lost control after the motorway closure forced a local route. Nine others were injured and are receiving treatment. Separately, a coach accident in Balochistan killed nine and injured 36, with overspeeding cited as a cause.
