Magnitude 4.7 Earthquake Hits Sankhuwasabha District in Eastern Nepal

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck Nepal's Sankhuwasabha district early Friday at 3:18 am, with its epicenter near Topke Gola on the Sankhuwasabha-Taplejung border, about 400 km east of Kathmandu. The tremor was felt in neighboring districts including Bhojpur, Panchthar, and Tehrathum.
