A tram derailed on Vittorio Veneto street in central Milan on February 27, resulting in one confirmed death and around 40 injuries, including one critical case. The tram, traveling at high speed, reportedly swerved off its usual route at a switch track before crashing into a shop window. Emergency services responded promptly, and Milan's public transport company, ATM, expressed sympathy and is cooperating with authorities to investigate the cause.
