In Maharashtra's Beed district, children playing at a construction site in Sangvi village discovered an earthen pot containing 250 British-era silver coins dated 1941. Mistaking the coins for play tokens, the children initially pocketed some before the landowner alerted authorities. The coins, weighing between 4 and 5 kg in total, were seized by local officials for preservation.
