
Northern India is experiencing an intensified winter with cold wave conditions and dense fog forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Minimum temperatures are expected to remain below normal across north, northwest, and central India until at least January 7. Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar are among the states warned of very low visibility, potentially causing disruptions to travel and increasing accident risks.
