Hyderabad experienced dense fog on New Year's morning, significantly reducing visibility until around 9 a.m. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) attributed the phenomenon to moisture accumulation near the ground. While dense fog is unlikely to persist, mild fog or mist may occur in the following days depending on atmospheric conditions.
