On March 5, Azerbaijan accused Iran of launching drone attacks on its Nakhchivan exclave, with one drone hitting the Nakhchivan International Airport and another near a school in the village of Shekerabad. Two civilians were injured, and the airport sustained damage. Azerbaijan summoned the Iranian envoy to protest, condemning the strikes as violations of international law and warning of possible retaliatory measures. Iran has not acknowledged the attacks, which have heightened regional tensions amid ongoing conflicts involving multiple countries.
