Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Inaugurates Amritsar Flyover to Ease Traffic Congestion
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated a new flyover at the Sultanwind Bypass and Sultanwind Link Road junction in Amritsar, aimed at easing traffic congestion for over two lakh daily devotees visiting Sri Darbar Sahib. The project, spanning 985 metres including approach roads, was completed at Rs 22.68 crore, saving Rs 11.52 crore from the approved budget. Mann highlighted the flyover's eco-friendly features and ongoing infrastructure improvements, alongside dedicating 500 modern village gyms to promote youth sports and combat drug abuse.
