Veteran UN Diplomat Siddharth Chatterjee Named CEO of Vienna-Based Think Tank

Siddharth Chatterjee, a veteran UN diplomat of Indian origin and former Indian Army officer decorated for gallantry, has been appointed CEO of Global Neighbours, a Vienna-based think tank, effective March 2. He retired recently as the UN Resident Coordinator in China, where he led 26 UN offices amid India-China tensions. Global Neighbours, founded in 2022, aims to foster fact-based dialogue between Europe, Asia, and other regions. Chatterjee has nearly three decades of international leadership experience across development, humanitarian, and diplomatic roles.
