Cyberabad Police have filed a case against BRS MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy for allegedly encroaching approximately five acres of Durgam Cheruvu lake in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRAA) filed a complaint alleging the land was filled and used for private transport parking, earning an estimated Rs 50 lakh monthly. The encroachment reportedly began in 2014, and HYDRAA recently cleared the area, removing vehicles and initiating steps to restore the lake.
