
On February 24, Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will lead a large farmers' rally, the 'Kisan Maha Chaupal,' in Bhopal to protest the interim India-US trade agreement. The party claims the deal threatens key agricultural sectors like cotton and soybean, impacting farmers' incomes and rural economies. Around 50,000 farmers and party members are expected to attend. Congress MLAs have also protested in the Madhya Pradesh assembly, demanding government action to protect farmers' interests.
