AAP MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal stated that recent changes, including a shift to a 60:40 funding ratio between the Centre and states, undermine the employment guarantee for rural laborers. He also criticized the renaming of the act and restrictions on employment during peak agricultural seasons, demanding the original framework be restored.
