
India and Canada are poised to finalize a 10-year, $2.8 billion uranium supply deal during Canadian Prime Minister Mike Carney's visit to India. This agreement supports India's plans to expand its civilian nuclear energy capacity. The two countries also aim to restart negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, targeting a doubling of bilateral trade to $60 billion by 2030. Additional deals in LNG, LPG, and crude oil may also be discussed.
