
Chief Justice of India Surya Kant laid the foundation stone for the Mandi Judicial Court Complex in Himachal Pradesh, emphasizing that the judicial system should operate with the same spirit of service as hospitals, as people seek relief and justice. The complex, costing Rs 152 crore and spanning 9.6 hectares with four blocks, aims to improve facilities for judges, lawyers, and the public. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu highlighted government efforts toward inclusive development, social justice, and resolving 5.5 lakh pending cases through Lok Adalats. Both leaders stressed raising awareness of fundamental rights and duties as integral to the Constitution.
