The Delhi government has established a Special Expert Committee and an Implementation Committee on Control of Air Pollution (ICCAP) to address the city's air quality crisis. This initiative is part of a five-pronged strategy focusing on innovation, waste management, industrial and vehicular emissions, and greening efforts. The expert committee, comprising 11 members from various government bodies and academic institutions, will provide independent solutions. The ICCAP, with 16 members including senior officials, aims for effective on-ground action, marking a shift from solely relying on regulatory orders.
