The Punjab Cabinet has approved a significant reduction in enhancement charges for sectors 76-80 in Mohali, lowering the rate from Rs 3,164 to Rs 2,216 per square meter. This decision, following efforts by MLA Kulwant Singh, provides financial relief to thousands of allottees who had been facing these charges for years. A formal notification is expected soon, after which residents will be asked to deposit the revised amount.
