The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme provides eligible Indian farmers with Rs 6,000 annually in three Rs 2,000 installments via Direct Benefit Transfer. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment in November 2025, disbursing over Rs 18,000 crore to more than nine crore farmers. The 22nd installment is expected in March 2026, though no official date is confirmed. Farmers must complete e-KYC and verify beneficiary status to ensure timely payments. The scheme excludes institutional landholders, income tax payers, and pensioners receiving over Rs 10,000 monthly.
