
Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda met with Haryana government officials, including Health Minister Arti Singh, to review the 'TB Mukt Bharat' campaign and other national health programs. Nadda stressed the importance of robust drug regulation, supply chain management for free drugs and diagnostics, and quality testing. He also highlighted the need for professional hospital administration, oversight of blood banks and safety standards, and enhanced availability of diagnostic tests. The minister suggested setting up AMRIT Retail Pharmacy stores in district hospitals and leveraging telemedicine.
