Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala has alleged a significant scam in the MBBS examinations at Haryana's Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences. He claims answer sheets were removed, question papers leaked via WhatsApp, and erasable ink used for answer changes. Surjewala stated that students allegedly paid between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh per subject to pass, with 41 individuals, including staff and students, named in the case. He urged strict action, emphasizing the risks to patient safety and public trust.
