The Election Commission of India (ECI) has detailed 91.46 lakh 'logical discrepancy' cases identified during West Bengal's Special Intensive Revision (SIR). These cases, initially 1.36 crore, involve unusual family-tree data. Categories include name mismatches (51 lakh), multiple voters linked to one father (24 lakh), and significant age gaps between parents and children. These discrepancies are separate from excluded and unmapped voters, whose cases are also under review by the ECI.
