Stakeholders of Tezpur University, including teachers, non-teaching staff, and students, began a 24-hour hunger strike to mark 100 days of continuous protest against alleged irregularities by Vice Chancellor Shambhu Nath Singh. The joint forum, Tezpur University United Forum (TUUF), expressed disappointment over the lack of resolution and accountability, citing the VC's prolonged absence and administrative paralysis.
