
The Delhi government plans to launch an 'open EV database' providing real-time information on electric vehicle charging points across the city. Currently hosting 9,000 stations, Delhi aims to expand to 30,000 charging points, addressing a projected need of 36,150. The upcoming Delhi Electric Vehicle Policy 2.0, expected by March, will include measures to promote charging infrastructure and double incentives for battery swapping stations from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
