The Tipra Motha Party (TMP), an ally of the BJP in Tripura, is urging the Central government to enact a comprehensive anti-racial discrimination law. TMP leaders criticized the Uttarakhand government for delayed action and called for exemplary punishment and the application of the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act.
