
The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) reviewed government enforcement actions in Delhi-NCR and Punjab aimed at reducing air pollution. The sub-committee examined measures addressing vehicular emissions, traffic congestion, road dust, construction and demolition waste, stubble burning, and municipal solid waste management. Progress on implementing statutory directions, including the use of paddy straw-based bio-mass pellets in brick kilns to curb stubble burning, was also assessed, alongside the handling of public complaints.
