PM Modi to Launch and Lay Foundation for Development Projects in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Puducherry and Tamil Nadu on March 1 to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple development projects worth over Rs 7,100 crore. In Puducherry, projects valued at around Rs 2,700 crore will focus on infrastructure, urban services, education, healthcare, and industrial growth, including e-Buses, smart city initiatives, and industrial estates. The Union Territory has been included in the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment scheme, enabling access to central funds for public infrastructure improvements.
