The Telangana High Court has issued notices to state officials following allegations of corruption in the Indiramma Housing Scheme, which aims to provide homes to economically weaker sections. A widow from Mulugu district claimed that officials conducted fake surveys and accepted bribes ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh for house allotments. The court has directed responses from government authorities and the CBI, with further hearings scheduled in three weeks to consider a detailed inquiry into the matter.
