India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully conducted a salvo launch of two Pralay missiles off the coast of Odisha on December 31, 2025. The test, part of user evaluation trials, saw both missiles follow their intended trajectories and meet mission objectives, confirmed by tracking sensors and telemetry systems. Pralay is an indigenously developed, solid-propellant, quasi-ballistic missile with advanced guidance for high precision, capable of carrying various warheads. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated the teams, noting the launch establishes the missile's reliability and readiness for induction into the armed forces.
