Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein highlighted initiatives like a Willy Jeep Rally and the construction of new museums to honor war sacrifices and preserve history. He visited the Hump World War II Museum at Pasighat, praising its preservation of artifacts and its role as a memorial. The state also recognizes the contributions of tribal people as porters during the war.
