Lt Governor Saxena Inaugurates First Water Reservoir Under Project Him Sarovar in Leh
Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena inaugurated the first of four water bodies under Project Him Sarovar at Spituk Pharka, Leh, completed in 60 days to address long-standing water scarcity. Situated at 11,500 feet, the reservoir stores nearly 60 lakh litres, aiming to revive agriculture in the region. Three additional reservoirs are nearing completion. Local residents expressed gratitude, highlighting the project's role in enhancing water security and agricultural sustainability in Ladakh's high-altitude villages.
