
Pakistan's security forces conducted two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the night of January 13-14, killing 13 militants linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, according to the military's Inter-Services Public Relations. Eight terrorists were killed in Bannu district and five in Kurram district, with ongoing sanitisation efforts. Earlier, four militants were killed in Balochistan. Despite these operations, terrorist attacks and fatalities in Pakistan increased significantly in 2025, as reported by the Pak Institute for Peace Studies.
