Telangana Prepares for Medaram Jatara with Nearly Three Crore Devotees Expected

The Telangana government is preparing for the Sammakka-Sarakka Medaram Jatara from January 28 to 31, expecting nearly three crore devotees, surpassing last year's 1.5 crore. Officials have been directed to ensure smooth arrangements including enhanced transport, security, sanitation, and healthcare. Over 42,000 personnel and 2,000 tribal volunteers will be deployed. A mobile app and QR code have been introduced for information, with real-time monitoring planned to manage the large-scale festival.
