Jordan's Envoy Rejects Redrawing Middle East Map, Calls for Peaceful Dialogue

Jordan's Ambassador to India, Yousef Abdelghani, emphasized at the India Today Conclave that the sovereignty of Middle Eastern countries must be respected and dismissed proposals to redraw regional borders as "nonsense." He warned that calls for regime change and altering maps often lead to instability and chaos. While criticizing Iran's use of airspace in the conflict, Abdelghani stated that Jordan remains neutral and advocates for peace through dialogue and negotiations to achieve lasting stability in the region.
