
In FY 2024-25, six national parties in India declared a combined income of approximately Rs 7,960 crore, with the BJP accounting for about 85% of this total, declaring Rs 6,769 crore. The Congress reported Rs 918 crore, while other parties like CPI(M), BSP, AAP, and NPEP declared smaller amounts. The BJP spent around 56% of its income, whereas Congress and BSP expenditures exceeded their incomes. Between 2023-24 and 2024-25, BJP's income rose by nearly 56%, while Congress's income declined by 25%.
