Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that public places in all 87 urban local bodies will be named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to commemorate his birth centenary. Statues will also be installed, and institutions established to spread awareness of his contributions. Saini, speaking at a Good Governance Day event, described Vajpayee as a visionary statesman embodying integrity and democratic values, stating the state government follows his path of good governance. The renaming process is expected to be completed within six months.
