PM Modi's Upcoming Israel Visit to Focus on Defence and Technology Cooperation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Israel from February 25 to 26, marking his second trip since 2017. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties, with expected discussions on defence cooperation including potential procurement of advanced Israeli weapons such as the Golden Horizon ballistic missile, laser-guided munitions, Iron Dome air defence system, and drones. Both countries may also explore joint manufacturing under India's Make in India initiative and deepen collaboration in emerging technologies like AI and cybersecurity.
