The Karnataka government has decided to allot 180 houses to individuals whose unauthorized constructions were demolished at Kogilu, following intervention from Kerala politicians. This decision has drawn criticism from the BJP, questioning the influence of Kerala leaders on Karnataka's governance. While Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan compared the demolition to 'Bulldozer Justice,' a Kerala IUML leader defended the Karnataka government, stating the victims included various faiths and that the CM had assured help.
