Himachal Pradesh Begins Ward Delimitation for New and Expanded Urban Local Bodies

The Himachal Pradesh State Election Commission has initiated the ward delimitation and reservation process for newly created or expanded urban local bodies, including Rohru, Una, Bir, and Narkanda. The draft delimitation proposals were published on March 12, with residents invited to submit objections by March 19. Authorities will review objections by March 23, and appeals can be filed until April 1. Final delimitation orders are expected by April 2, aiming to facilitate upcoming municipal elections as per legal provisions.
