Election Commission to Visit Kerala on March 6-7 to Assess Poll Preparedness

The Election Commission (EC), led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, will visit Kerala on March 6 and 7 to assess poll preparedness ahead of likely assembly elections next month. The EC has already visited Assam, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry, with polls also due in West Bengal. The commission plans to finalize the poll schedule for Assam considering the Bihu festival on April 14. The terms of the five assemblies end between May and June, and all states have published final electoral rolls after Special Intensive Revision.
