The Gujarat government has promoted several senior IAS and IPS officers as part of a New Year reshuffle. Six 1996-batch IAS officers have been elevated to Additional Chief Secretary, with postings in various departments. Additionally, 14 IPS officers received promotions, including three who were elevated to Director General of Police. These changes were announced through notifications from the General Administration and Home Departments.
