
Punjab is set to launch the 'Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna' on January 15, offering free cashless medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh annually to all 65 lakh families in the state. Eligibility requires an Aadhaar and voter card, with no income cap. The scheme, which covers 2,200 procedures and utilizes a network of 824 empanelled hospitals, was formalized through an agreement with United India Insurance. Enrolment will be facilitated through Common Service Centres, with a helpline to be launched soon.
