Punjab Government Assures Teachers Amid TET Mandate, Announces Rs 400 Crore School Digitalisation

The Punjab government plans to file a review petition against the order, which requires teachers recruited before 2011 to clear TET by August 2027 for continued service and promotions. Meanwhile, Bains announced a Rs 400 crore digitalisation project to equip government schools with new computers and interactive panels, aiming to modernize education infrastructure.
