India and Poland Discuss Strategic Partnership, Terrorism, and Trade Cooperation

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski in New Delhi to discuss strengthening the India-Poland strategic partnership. Jaishankar urged Poland to adopt zero tolerance towards terrorism and avoid supporting terrorist infrastructure in India's neighbourhood, referencing Poland's recent engagement with Pakistan. He also criticized the selective targeting of India through sanctions and tariffs related to the Ukraine conflict, calling it unfair and unjustified. Both sides emphasized expanding cooperation in trade, defence, clean technology, and digital innovation, with bilateral trade reaching around $7 billion and Indian investments exceeding $3 billion in Poland.
