GRP Conference Addresses Drug Trafficking and Security on Vulnerable Railway Network

Chiefs of Government Railway Police (GRP) convened in New Delhi to discuss measures against drug trafficking on the vulnerable railway network. The 7th All India Conference, led by Railway Protection Force (RPF), focused on a roadmap involving proactive surveillance, real-time intelligence sharing, and technology such as AI-enabled CCTV and drones. Officials stressed regular mock drills, scenario-based training, community outreach, and strict legal actions to enhance railway security and address issues like stone-pelting and sabotage.
