Maharashtra Congress chief Harshwardhan Sapkal announced that the party is actively discussing an alliance with Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) for upcoming municipal corporation elections. Both parties have empowered local leadership to finalize decisions, with strong communication and sincere efforts underway. Discussions are also ongoing with Shiv Sena (UBT) as part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi and INDI bloc. Candidate selection and election management strategies for 28 corporations, excluding Mumbai, were also discussed.
